About Us

Empower Transitional Home was established in 2023 by Devon Jenkins Sr.

Looking for a way to become a part of the solution in rebuilding the community where he was raised, he set out on a mission to address the homelessness crisis that had become a leading problem in his community. Empower Has since partnered with multiple community organizations to provide housing with an extensive referral history. Over time we have been able to build a 30 bed therapeutic transitional community that houses men from all different walks of life to include, re-entry, substance abuse, Veterans, the senior community and men on the Registry. Our program Provides resources in trades training (plumbing,electrical, painting & carpentry) peer support, mental health, counseling services and job readiness.We have helped transition a substantial amount of our participants into a life with stable housing and the core life skills to become productive self sufficient members of society.
